Chevron provides aid for health facilities in West Nusa Tenggara and Central Sulawesi
In two public ceremonies in July, Chevron and it’s employees in Indonesia handed over reconstruction aid to communities in West Nusa Tenggara and Central Sulawesi provinces. Provided in response to the 2018 earthquake and tsunami, the aid includes facilities and equipment for Puskesmas Pembantu (Supplementary Public Health Care) Plus, also known as Pustu Plus. For the first time ever in these two provinces, care provided by a nurse, midwife and doctor is available under one roof.

Riau will Have a Mangrove Ecosystem Restoration Design
Riau Province will soon have a mangrove ecosystem restoration design for the coastal area. Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN), with the support of PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (PT CPI), has completed a study of mangrove ecosystems as the basis for establishing future restoration strategies and methods.

118 Meters Drill, Clean Water for Minas Timur
Access to clean water has been an ongoing challenge in Riau, especially during the dry season. But for more than 200 villagers in Lukut Village, Minas Timur, relief has come. PT CPI Empowers Waste Bank Groups
Pekanbaru, May 11, 2020 — To promote a cleaner environment and provide economic benefits for local communities, PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (PT CPI) introduced its waste bank management program to four waste bank groups from four subdistricts in Pekanbaru, Siak and Bengkalis. Working with LPPM Universitas Lancang Kuning (Unilak) to implement the program, PT CPI provided technical training, equipment, assistance, monitoring and evaluation.

Monitor the herd of Sumatran elephants via GPS
A model of multistakeholder cooperation in saving the Sumatran Elephant (Elephas maximus Sumatranus) will be carried out in Riau Province. This collaboration is designed to reduce the vulnerability of Sumatran elephants due to conflict and poaching. Conservation efforts are carried out in an integrated manner from saving the population, to what is often forgotten, habitat development.

Two of these bridges were the result of new construction, while the other 2 units were PT CPI's assistance bridges that were previously reconditioned so that the public could be utilized properly.
