Jakarta, 4 December 2020 – PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (PT CPI) received one of the awards at the International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil and Gas 2020. PT CPI was awarded as The Best Finance and Monetization category; this award is the highest recognition from SKK Migas to Contractor of Production Sharing Contact (PSC) for the discipline in achieving oil lifting target and managing costs efficiently.
This award was given by the Chief of SKK Migas, Dwi Soetijpto in a virtual award ceremony which took place on Friday (4/12). "It is an honor for us to receive this award. This is the result of PT CPI employee’s hard work in supporting the Company's commitment to the Government and the implementation of good governance, "said Albert Simanjuntak, the President Director of PT CPI, in his acceptance speech.
SKK Migas Award ceremony at the International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil and Gas 2020 was held virtually on Friday (4/12). PT CPI received The Best in Finance and Monetization category.
Albert also mentioned that during 96 years of operation in Indonesia, PT CPI has shown strong performance and has made a large contribution to state income, the economy and the community. "PT CPI is a pioneer and role model in the development of oil and gas fields in Indonesia, demonstrating its commitment and expertise of the workers as well as technological excellence," he said.
Besides the Finance and Monetization category, the International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil and Gas 2020 also awarded other categories. This event took place virtually on 2-4 December 2020 and was attended by the government, national and international upstream oil and gas business industries, academics, and media.
